Eversheds Sutherland advises Johnson Matthey plc on the sale of Johnson Matthey Battery SystemsJuly 18, 2024 The Polish and English offices of law firm Eversheds Sutherland advised Johnson Matthey plc in the international transaction for the sale of Johnson Matthey Battery Systems sp. z o.o. to the German Prettl Group. The Polish part of the transaction was handled by a team from the Warsaw office of Eversheds Sutherland led by Grzegorz Barszcz (Counsel, M&A) and included: Piotr Słoniowski (Associate, M&A), Jowita Prokop (Senior Associate, Commercial), Aleksandra Tylińska (Associate, Litigation), dr Dariusz Aziewicz (Senior Associate, Competition). The Polish team was supervised by partner Ewa Szlachetka (Head of M&A and Capital Markets, ESG). The international and English parts of the transaction were handled by a team in the London office of Eversheds Sutherland led by Jubilee Easo (Partner, Global Energy Group; Head of International oil, gas and hydrogen practice), Lee Harris (Partner, M&A) and Edward Lyons (Principal Associate; M&A and Corporate).
