Frank Achilles is a Partner in the firm's Munich office and Head of the German Employment and Labor Law practice group.
In this function he is responsible for advising especially international clients, in particular, with respect to reorganizations and restructuring measures, the introduction of new remuneration schemes and systems as well as transfers of undertakings and M&A transactions. In the area of restructuring, he has advised several national and international companies on mass dismissals as well as secondments and negotiations with works councils in the last few years.
Frank Achilles advises a broad range of clients, including multinational corporations, publicly listed companies, medium-sized enterprises, banks and insurance companies, on all aspects of employment law, with a particular focus on works constitution and co-determination matters. In addition, he regularly serves as a member of conciliation committees (Einigungsstellen) dealing with a wide variety of employee co-determination issues.
For many years, Frank Achilles has been consistently recommended by WirtschaftsWoche, The Legal 500 Germany and Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers, and is also recognised in the JUVE Handbook.
