Legal Alert | Call for applications for energy price compensation published - deadline for application 22 December 2022!

 

The Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic has published a call for applications for a subsidy of 80 % of the difference between the price actually paid for gas and/or electricity and the set maximum limits of EUR 99 per MWh (gas) or EUR 199 per MWh (electricity). This is the net price of the commodity excluding distribution and network charges.

The application must be submitted in electronic form to the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic by 22 December 2022.

The minimum amount of the subsidy is EUR 50 and the maximum EUR 500 000. If the amount requested exceeds EUR 100 000, the applicant must be registered with the Register of Public Sector Partners.

Eligible applicants are economic operators, i.e. those offering goods and/or services, irrespective of their legal status and method of financing, and irrespective of their size, i.e. micro, small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large enterprises, excluding credit and financial institutions. Enterprises in difficulty are also eligible.

The eligible period is from 1 August 2022 to 30 September 2022.
