The firm also recently announced that a team of former KWM (China) partners and staff have joined the London office. Tawfiq Tabbaa, Managing Partner Middle East, Eversheds Sutherland (International) comments: “We are delighted that partner Daniel Xu has joined the firm. His appointment will help strengthen further our ground-breaking cooperation agreement with KWM (China) to benefit our clients in the Middle East. We are already seeing a steady pipeline of client work between our firms, and we look forward to Daniel playing an important role in continuing to build this relationship.” Paul Taylor, Senior Office Partner, Dubai, Eversheds Sutherland (International) comments: “Daniel is a very welcome addition to our litigation and disputes practice in the region. We look forward to working closely with him.” Daniel Xu, Partner, Eversheds Sutherland (International) comments: “The firm’s strong platform in international arbitration and cross border disputes not only delivers a continuation of service to my current clients but will enable me to maintain strong relationships with former colleagues at KWM (China) to support the cooperation agreement. I am excited to have joined Eversheds Sutherland (International) as I continue to build my practice.” Daniel Xu is ranked in Legal 500 2023, for Construction: Next Generation Partner, and Chambers 2023 for Construction: Dispute Resolution, Up and Coming.
