WirtschaftsWoche recognises Eversheds Sutherland again as top legal practice for real estate and construction law – four lawyers rank among the best

The German business magazine Die WirtschaftsWoche has again recognised Eversheds Sutherland as a top legal practice for real estate and private construction law. With Dr. Gerhard Molt and Marc Schwencke for real estate law and Dr. Steffen Jung and Dr. Janis Heiliger for private construction law, four lawyers of the legal practice are now ranked among the best and most renowned lawyers in Germany.

Dr. Gerhard Molt (Partner, Munich) heads the Real Estate practice group of Eversheds Sutherland in Germany. His clients include international investors, some of the largest real estate portfolios held by insurances and leading project developers, tech and industrial companies. Gerhard Molt's work focuses on accompanying transactions and project development.

Marc Schwencke, Partner in Eversheds Sutherland's Real Estate practice group in Dusseldorf, advises national and international companies, investors and the public sector with respect to all questions of real estate commercial law and particularly specialises in the core areas of project development and transactions. He focuses on urban development, retail and logistics projects as well as the development of datacentres.

Dr. Steffen Jung (Partner, Munich) heads the Construction practice group of Eversheds Sutherland in Germany. He has more than 20 years of experience in advising clients on complex and major construction and real estate projects with a focus on infrastructure projects during the construction phase. He also represents clients in real estate-related litigation before courts and arbitral tribunals.

Dr. Janis Heiliger (Counsel, Dusseldorf) is a member of the Construction practice group and advises on all areas of construction and real estate law. He has extensive experience in construction processes and assists with contract drafting and project-related legal advice.

From this list, a jury of experts then selected 23 law firms with 35 lawyers particularly recommended for real estate law and 23 law firms with 32 lawyers particularly recommended for private construction law.
